Possibility of using a speech therapy application as part of speech therapy prevention

The diploma thesis examines the usability of the speech therapy application for children of preschool age in speech therapy prevention. It focuses on the most common deficits in the areas of optical and auditory perception and seriality. It tracks progress, the most common mistakes and areas that are well developed in children. It investigates the possibilities of using the application in common practice during speech therapy prevention in kindergarten for children of preschool age. For the purposes of the research, was chosen a qualitative method, carried out by the method of analysis and interpretation of data from the results of testing eight children from kindergarten aged 4 to 7 years. In order to complete the issue, a structured interview was conducted with a speech therapy assistant who works in a kindergarten. It was found that the created logopedic application can be used both for individual logopedic prevention and in a group. The speech therapy assistant also recommends the application for independent work in the home environment. Furthermore, it was found that the most frequent deficits are in the area of auditory perception, especially the auditory differentiation of words. Articulation and oral exercises in Kindergarten

This bachelor thesis is on the topic of articulation exercises at nursery school. The aim is to create an articulation exercise education programme that meets the specifics of pre-schooleducation. The theoretical part defines the term articulation, its development until the end of pre-school age, factors that affect its development and means of preventing the disruption of articulation. It also outlines education methods and ways of incorporating articulation exercises into the education process at nursery school. The practical part contains suitably motivated topics for articulation exercises, and a description of how they are implemented and evaluated. These activities are incorporated into the normal nursery school programme, as part of the WINTER theme, and are designed as a form of play using various types of activities. This education programme has been verified in practice at anursery school with children aged 57. It was evaluated using the participated observation method and analysis of video records.
Games in logopedic prevention

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of Games in logopedic prevention. Its aim is to show the role of games in speech therapy prevention and present their offer, which could serve as an inspiration or a help for kindergarten teachers. In the theoretical part I first focus on ontogenetic speech development which is divided into individual periods and accompanied by preventive recommendations. The second part deals with the speech therapy prevention and its implementation in preschool facilities. I mention the importance of language and speech development within RVP PV, further supported areas of speech therapy prevention such as an auditory and visual perception, general rules for proper development speech and methodology of speech therapy prevention, which includes a game. In the third part I deal with the game itself its meaning, characters and their division. In the practical part there are ten games, which were tested by children in kindergarten. Individual games are focused on the development of skills that are of interest to speech therapy prevention. Based on the observations, the games are described and evaluated. I observed especially the interest of children in the games, but I also focused on the possibility of using games individually or in groups or in different parts of the day. There is a book of games and photographs of the aids I have created for the games.
Child with impaired communication ability in kindergarten

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of disturbed communication skills of kindergarten - aged children. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the approach to these children from the viewpoint of their education, logopedic prevention and the cooperation with their educators. The theoretical part deals with the most common speech problems in the pre - school period, the ideal approach to the child and the prevention of these problems. The practical part contains four particular studies of the kindergarten aged children with disturbed communication skills. These studies were made using the methods of observation, interviews and analysis of documents. The results of the studies are presented in the thesis.
